With this conversion you must furnish the transmission shifter arms (Hurst brand recommended) and a good Hurst Competition Plus shifter mechanism.
This is just about necessary if you're racing with a Muncie 4-speed transmission. Designed and Manufactured by a racer. This kit includes the lighter shifter rods made of 5/8" aluminum bar stock (not tubing). These are straight rods and will not work in a console or stock shifter hole in your floorboard.  Raises the shifter about 3 inches over stock location.  Patterned after the Hurst "Ram Rod" to provide serious shifting with out the flexing or bent rod wiggle that is a problem with the stock Hurts rods in a race application. The included components are CNC machined billet aluminum mounting plate, air craft style rod ends (heim joints) bolts, self locking nuts, bushings and spacers required for a complete installation.
