    Description

    Also known by the provisional name of Imilchil, the Agoudal meteorite was classified as a IIAB iron. It was first described in 2011 and is considered to be the one of the newest Moroccan iron meteorites. The meteoroid exploded forming some small craters and creating shatter cones and suevites. Thousands of little and intricate meteorites scattered around the current location of the town Agoudal, which is the highest town in Morocco at 2300 meters above sea level.
    These pieces have an attractive shape. They were chosen manually among many pieces and bought from local hunters in the town of Agoudal in December 2019. They conserve their nice natural patina.
